Photo Day Volunteer Information

If you are interested any of the following volunteering opportunities, please email our A few of the tasks that a volunteer is likely to help with:

(1) Merchandise sales:

We sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, baseball caps, vests, etc. at Photo Day. We need help with:

• Set-up - We need one person with two card tables, and 1-2 helpers.
• Sales - Usually 2-hour shifts from 8am to 3pm
• Break-down - packing left over merchandise and transportation to storage

(2) Preparation:

Help coaches checking-in with the photographers 15 minutes prior to their scheduled photo appointment. During this 15 minutes, they will need to be prepared:

• have completed order envelopes in hand
• dressed in uniform
• lined up in height order

(3) Entrance Monitor:

The photo area is restricted to Shooting Stars Productions, players, coaches, and "buddies" (those taking photos WITH a player). Teams should also enter prepared as stated above.

(4) Order Envelope Aid:

Order envelopes are distributed at minimum two weeks prior to Photo Day. However, many families show up unprepared. In the interest of staying on schedule, it helps to have a parent volunteer (or two) helping with on-site order envelope completion.

(5) Traffic Control:

Traffic can get congested in the Montera Middle school parking lot. Traffic volunteers help to keep traffic moving and cars find parking spaces.
